The pandemic caused by COVID-19 has created the need to develop platforms aimed at controlling it. During this phase, we have seen the emergence of contact tracing tools for infected persons with the aim of preventing the spread of the virus.
The COCHID (Contagion Chain Identification) project aims to develop a solution based on wearable devices and distributed databases for tracking close contacts for epidemic control, overcoming the adoption barriers of smartphone-based solutions.
