The city of Cordoba hosted the 4th edition of the Smart Rural Innovation Fair, Fimart 2017, which has already become a benchmark for the application of technology to the rural world, with the aim of serving as a meeting and exchange space between technology companies, universities and the agricultural and livestock sector.
In it, our colleague and head of R&D Arturo Medela, took part in the Expert Panel “Technologies for the agricultural and forestry world. Success stories and company experiences”. In his presentation, he started by describing the concept of IoT, its current situation of development and its potential, to then describe the existing applications in which IoT provides new services to both livestock and agriculture, based on two experiences of TST in various technological projects in this field: extensive livestock and vineyard management.
