TST, through its related trading subsidiary Celestia Renovables, has deployed the first radio communications link under the Phase I belonging to a Project targeting the global implementation of wireless technologies in the EDPR 30.000 KW wind farm located in Tahivilla (Cádiz, South of Spain).
The Project aims at providing wireless links to every wind turbine in Tahivilla farm, allowing to eliminate copper wires and significantly reduce the extremely high maintenance costs. The system will work on ISM 868 MHz frequency band, providing immunity to atmospheric phenomena and wide distance to frequencies used by army and defense.
