Telecommunications giant Vodafone has opened in Sevilla the Vodafone Smart Center, an innovative initiative aimed at promoting energy efficiency for Spanish cities in different areas, including public lighting efficiency, waste management or buildings energy efficiency.
TST, in close technical cooperation with IBM, Vodafone Smart Cities platform´s provider, has been involved in the first Project related to this iniciative, “Vodafone Connected City”, by providing some of their Smart City solutions for energy efficiency applications, smart lighting control and waste containers management.
